The Strange Destination
Illustrated Story
Full-page illustrations with text on facing pages
Approx. 80 pages
A small lizard steps into a ghost city and never turns back. His journey carries him down lamplit boulevards, through traffic-choked freeways, onto a gliding train full of nameless figures, and through doors that seem to open on their own. Along the way, he meets friendly nobodies and peculiar strangers, catching glimpses of sorrow at the edges of the spectacle.
Rendered in a dense black-and-white world that feels both playful and uncanny, this illustrated story blends deadpan humor, mystery, and quiet transformation. Told through richly detailed illustrations and spare text, the book invites readers into motion, mystery, and one strange, beautiful destination after another.
